Magnetic Artist loft

Located in Francisco Uh May, Mexico, within a jungle setting near the ruins of Cobá, Casa Club is a hospitality concept developed entirely by EK Studio since 2024. Its first built piece is The Artist Loft, a residence conceived as a manifesto where architecture, art, and experience converge.

The work is conceived as an experimental exercise in space, where the sensory experience is activated through a precise architectural gesture. The concept originates from a background shaped by art and classical architecture: proportion, height, symmetry, and light as a structural material define the initial spatial decisions.

These initial criteria later intersect with the Mexican territory: the pre-Hispanic scale, the stone-like quality, the monumental. From this dialogue emerge stone columns, staircases, platforms, and pools carved from natural material, shaping an architecture of solid, silent, and elemental presence.

The idea pursues an experience that oscillates between the contemplative and the sensual. The space seeks to activate the body and perception, to generate attraction, and to invite movement and permanence through a measured tension between formal rigor and desire.

The work is currently developing through an organic process, where construction progress continuously refines the character of the space through testing, error, and ongoing learning. Thus, this first residence is established as the conceptual model for the Casa Club complex.

At present, The Artist Loft enters its next phase: the development of interior design and decoration, where every architectural edge will be reinterpreted through materials, objects, light, and sensitive gestures that complete the inhabitable experience. Architecture sets the pulse; interior design will reveal its deeper breath.

Casa Club is projected as a hospitality destination for 2026. The Artist Loft stands as its first built manifesto.
